De digital a análogo: Una reflexión teórica sobre la adaptación entre medios lúdicos

La atención que el estudio de las adaptaciones de textos ha prestado al medio del juego digital forma parte inseparable de la historia del estudio académico de los juegos, principalmente enfocada en los video juegos como adaptaciones desde y hacia el cine y la literatura. No obstante, a pesar de la gran cantidad de trabajo previo realizado, comparativamente se observa poco desarrollo en las consideraciones sobre adaptaciones hacia y desde el juego análogo, como por ejemplo, los juegos de mesa, de naipes y los deportes. En este artículo se propone una aproximación teórica inicial para poder desarrollar un marco que permita entender qué está en juego y de qué manera a la hora de adaptar textos entre medios lúdicos. Para esto, se hace una revisión narrativa de literatura abarcando los estudios de medios y los estudios lúdicos para rescatar las cuestiones relevantes de considerar en estas adaptaciones. Los hallazgos rescatados levantan la necesidad de considerar los textos lúdicos como situados en entornos productivos transmedia, además de observar las diferencias entre distintos medios en lo relativo a la materialidad, la opacidad del procesamiento, y del apoyo en el medio social para la operación del acto de jugar.
